Transforming nutrition and health with microalgae
Alver has been selected as one of 15 innovative companies to participate in the Food Pioneers Accelerator (FPA), a cross-border program that supports food companies in Flanders and the Southern Netherlands in scaling up their products or production processes.
The program aims to make the food supply chain more efficient, sustainable, and healthy by supporting innovative companies with (technical) scaling—for instance, by helping to find a cross-border production partner and contributing part of the budget required to execute the scaling project. Food Pioneers Accelerator fosters cross-border collaboration, thereby strengthening the innovative ecosystem within the region's agri-food sector.
Houman Soleimani, Chief Operating Officer: “Our participation in the Food Pioneers Accelerator marks another great step forward. In the coming period, with FPA’s support, we will work on Diamond Chlorella ® scale-up project in collaboration with partner Biobase Europe Pilot Plant. We look forward to realizing our ambitions together with the program’s partners and contributing to a future-proof food sector.”
